What are the characteristics of tall pruning shears?

Pruning and fruit picking of fruit trees are indispensable and important links in the growth and management period of fruit trees. The use of high branch shears for fruit tree pruning and fruit picking operations is achieved by operating the handle with the grip of human hands, driving the opening and closing of cutting tools, cutting branches or picking fruits; However, due to the uneven height of the branches, the traditional high branch pruning method cannot adjust the length, resulting in inconvenient operation.

Characteristics of High Branch Scissors: Hand held High Branch Scissors, Branch Scissors Type, and Scissors Type. The poles are mostly equipped with fiberglass rods and iron rods, with lengths of 3 meters, 3.5 meters, 4 meters, and 5 meters.

According to the type of use, there are also specialized high branch shears used by the power industry department.

Orchard pruning operations are carried out throughout the year, which is highly beneficial for the growth of fruit trees:

1) Reduce excess branch coverage, increase effective canopy layer, increase effective leaf coefficient, and enhance photosynthesis. Leaves are the site of photosynthesis in fruit trees, which can accumulate sufficient organic nutrients and promote high yields.

2) Pruning branches to control the apical dominance of fruit tree branch growth and promote flower bud differentiation. After pruning, the top of the branch stops growing in summer, and nutrients are not consumed in the top growth. The top of the branch forms a leaf cluster, with large and mature leaves, high photosynthetic efficiency, and can increase the nutrient accumulation of the branch, thereby increasing the concentration of the apical bud cytoplasm and completing flower bud differentiation. It can bloom in the spring of the second year.

3) Pruning fruit trees can overcome the phenomenon of peripheral fruiting and annual yield. The natural growth of the tree causes the internal branches to be too dense, resulting in the external expansion of the fruiting parts. Excessive increase in the annual yield of fruit trees leads to nutrient loss, resulting in less flowering and fruiting in the second year, a decrease in yield, and the formation of small and large years.
